VALOREM Group is committed to:
- Ensure that procurement documents include appropriate anti-bribery measures in accordance with the Bribery Act 2010,
- To check the origin of the construction of the supplies carried by our various suppliers and in particular to check the personnel involved in the industrial production chain and compliance with the rules in force,
- Implementing a segregation of duties within the Group’s purchasing process,
- Ensure that Group staff are aware of the policy and procedures to combat active and passive corruption and understand the consequences of non-compliance.
Ensure that all employment contracts include this dimension, - Develop the internal rules in this direction,
- Review the internal IT charter and assess its impact on these aspects,
- Ensure that the Group has adequate procedures in place for staff to report cases or allegations of corruption, while protecting whistleblowers.
Anti-corruption charter
The Group undertakes never to:
- Participate in any form of corrupt behaviour,
- Conceal or fail to record accurately and completely the true nature of our activities, or falsify or alter the Company’s books or records,
- Paying more than the fair market value of goods and services,
- Make facilitation payments (except where such payments are expressly authorised by written law),
- Giving or receiving gifts or hospitality that could be or be perceived as an undue inducement or as creating a conflict of interest or influence peddling,
- Giving political or charitable contributions (including sponsorships and other benefits) for inappropriate purposes ,
- Engaging third parties to make irregular payments or take part in any corrupt activity on its behalf,
- Undertake due diligence in the fight against corruption when entering into or concluding contracts with third parties.
