The VALOREM Group completes a refinancing of almost €200 million for a 143 MW portfolio in France
The VALOREM Group, an independent renewable energy operator for 30 years, has concluded a global refinancing for a portfolio of solar and wind power assets totalling 143 MW of installed capacity.
The portfolio comprises 12 solar photovoltaic farms and 8 onshore wind farms, spread across France, with a concentration of facilities in the north and south of the country. These assets, which have been in operation for an average of three years, benefit from significant operational experience and production potential that extends for many years to come.
This refinancing, structured around a new senior debt of almost €200 million, will enable the VALOREM Group to consolidate its financial structure, finalise the repayment of the equity loans (crowdfunding) raised as part of the CRE solar AO, stabilise its long-term commitments and free up resources to accelerate the commissioning of its future renewable energy production assets.
Refinancing carried out with the support of trusted partners
This key step was made possible thanks to the constant support of the VALOREM Group’s banking partners, who share its vision of energy transition. The Group would particularly like to thank Société Générale, the Crédit Agricole Group (Crédit Agricole CIB and Crédit Agricole Transitions Et Energies, Crédit Agricole Languedoc), BPCE Energeco, Auxifip, Crédit Lyonnais and Natixis, as well as the following advisors for their support and expertise in this transaction: ASTRIS – Financial advisor; LINKLATERS – Legal advisor; PWC – Tax advisor; De Pardieu – Lenders‘ legal advisor; Everoze – Lenders’ technical advisor; Marsh – Lenders’ insurance audit; Aurora – Electricity pricing.
The wind farms concerned by this refinancing are: Alzonne, Camiac, La Fibat, La Pouyère, Lassicourt, Maillol, Montbartier, Mézières, Noé, Pontenx-les-Forges, Saint Marcel, La Tour Blanche for the photovoltaic farms and Baâlon, Bois d’Olivet, Dampierre et Massay, Hombleux, Longueil, Saint Secondin, Saint Père and Tôtes for the wind farms.
We are honoured by the renewed confidence shown in us by our banking partners. This long-term support for our projects is not only a commitment to accelerating the energy transition, but also recognition of the robustness of the VALOREM Group’s assets.
